Oh hey 84 Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger, that's got to be the first released drawing from him in over a year. Glad he's alive and can still hold a pen!

Every week for a year and a half I've naively checked the TOC in the hopes that there may be some World trigger news or an update on Daisuke Ashihara's health. I feel my hope fading.

He was on a pretty good streak up until recently so it might also just be the increased workload from colour spreads. I'd rather he adopt the Oda schedule and take a break every 4 chapters, I'm not...

World trigger break isn't too shocking. This has been Ashihara's longest run without break for quite a while and he just finished up an arc too. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Man there are a lot of series that I forget are huge powerhouses like Prince of tennis, second best selling sports series in Jump! And obligatory gasp at One Piece and it's ludicrous sales figures.

I'd be mad if there was a new artist. I like Togashi's style and I'd always be left wondering what a scene would look like if he drew it instead.
