Bolton's absolutely a horrible racist warmongering walrus, but it seems he and Trump disagreed frequently. The trade-off is likely a bad influence who still fights with Trump versus a likely...

Economic prosperity is negatively correlated with average number of kids per family. That is, as countries modernize and develop, adults have fewer kids. With that in mind, helping third-world...

Hot take: this is what a perfect transition chapter looks like. Reminders of previous subplots, vaguely ominous discussions, heartwarming togetherness moments, and packed to the gills with hilarious...

I might be wrong but I feel like the anime has put more focus on Senku from the beginning, which should help ease the transition with Taiju (thankfully) exiting for a bit. Could've used a bit tighter...

I find the anime...ok. My main complaint is that the music choices don't really add anything to what's happening onscreen- the big moments don't feel big enough and the emotional moments don't feel...

There's nothing terribly different between utilizing a tool you've developed and using your power in a new and creative way. With all the creativity Horikoshi has had in deploying Deku's super...

One thing I think people are overlooking is that Deku was originally conceived as a kind of Batman character with lots of tools and ingenuity but no Quirk. Horikoshi isn't going to give him...

There's no Harry Potter character both evil and stupid enough to be Trump exactly. I'd be tempted to call him Marvolo Gaunt, or maybe a particularly dumb Bellatrix to Putin's Voldemort.

Heh, that's a fun game. Warren really does have a slightly-less-stern McGonagall energy.

    Biden: Slughorn

    O'Rourke: Lockhart
    Williamson: Trelawney, obviously...

Re: What are you reading? (Literature)

I've read the first three, but the back-to-back brutal endings of the 2nd and 3rd books put me off them for a bit. They're dense enough that it's been tough to get into the fourth much.

Stone Ocean is my personal favorite, followed by SBR. Jolyne makes the whole part and it strikes a great balance between Stand of the Week and serious plot progression.
