Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

I'm quite satisfied with the ending. Although the first third of the episode felt like a perfect stunningly slow visual depiction of something that just waits to get overlayed by the latest...

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Your last sentence. Exactly that. People do really random things this season. And Bronn was kinda pissed at Lannisters the last time we saw him.

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Yeah, after the war. The war with Cercei just ended. And like writing out Sam and Tormund, we say goodbye to Bronn next episode. (Well actually to all of them :P)

I could ask you the same question about your deduction that the Bronn scene was his last.

Why would you think that? Tyrion killed Tywin with a crossbow. And like they did with Ramsay, Tyrion will die through his own whatever/tempted fate.

How so? The NK wiped out House Mormont while Frey failed in wiping out the Starks.

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Enjoyed that episode very much. ALL the "good" characters who'd grown on to me (well, except Theon) in one place, right before a major battle. What could go wrong? I expect half of them to die next...

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

I just facepalmed everytime Arya and Sansa talked or did something this ep. Like they were heavily hit with Ned disease.

Sure talk to Littlefinger again. Send Brienne away. Sneak into the room......

As epic this episode was on other shores, Podrick reacting to Brienne's actions just made it.

Way to go Bran, holding a conversation like that with your sister. Why not tell us about the clothes Hodor wore next time, just to rub it in.

You don't know how I'm hoping af here right now! The way they had written the counsils with Jon and the Lords the last episodes, with them and Sansa always disagreeing. Baelish still sneaking around,...

Aside from the epicness of it all, can someone explain to me what exactly Lyanna said to Ned? Watched the episode in another language. The whispering didn't helped too.

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Still, seeing just the TV series, I was wondering ever since season 1, how the hell those Starks survived until now. A few steps in every direction of Winterfell no one seems to act to their code of...

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Yeah could be. The writers know.

The actions of Jon let the Ramsay army vulnerable on the battlefield. And both Ramsay and Jon didn't know anything about Sansa's reinforcements. That's a fact...

News flash, I blamed him. Who should I blame otherwise?

If Sansa had told Jon about Littlefinger he would have waited for them to have better odds against Ramsay. Making Ramsay more cautious...

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Doesn't prevent me from not liking this particular action.

Well, thanks to the stupid decisions of both Jon and Sansa they have Winterfell now. I would still sit outside the castle, trying to...

Re: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)

Hated the stupid charge of Jon and his forces, but the spot on depiction of battle tactics and chaos made up for it.

We had a lot of interesting scenes this episode. Including Littlefinger and Varis being baffled by something. But Varis hears this 'You are a eunuch, haha.' -stuff every second episode. Why was he so...

If they just showed the snakes doing their stuff in westeros, like they will do in the future episodes, I would've just assumed that he lives happily ever after in the palace. But...

What was Thorne's intention to kill Jon in the TV series anyway? Changing the wildling policy back to the old way is suicide. And if he let them live inside the walls he doesn't need to kill Jon in...

    Loved the Tyrion Jorah scenes.

And to Sansa; I hope she just endures it now because it's basically her only job as a noble woman in the first night, besides carrying his baby after that. But...
