Wow. Didn't know Midori no Makibaoh has a sequel. I grew up loving the anime. Also, these tribute illustrations from other artists are always a treat.

Seeing Masanori Morita's made me miss reading...

What makes it more awesome is that it was, compared with Bakuman and AssClass, from debuting mangakas. Not if you consider tosh's past works in which he should at least formed a fandom.

Maybe the editor's comment at the end of the chapter for Retsu already hinted that next issue will be the last chapter. It's not that uncommon. And it was from kaze sooo... Anyways, heck yeah Souma!...

Yeah, I was kind of surprised that Takamagahara got serialized first, if ever HJ will get serialized later. HJ oneshot was pretty good. Maybe the author isn't ready for serialization yet.

I think the winner last year was Hungry Joker? And there was also Hanasaka Ikkyuu in 2010, but unfortunately just spanned for 17 weeks.

I highly doubt it. Nura, unlike Bulge, has gotten quite a decent reception when it was still starting and fared well in the rankings. Nura just gradually sunk until it was cancelled.

    Even if...

Kagami isn't that bad, it was decent at best. It still entertained me once in a while.

And it seems that Kagami wasn't canceled (just like what others believe with Mx0), it was Kano that stops...

If you're talking about Yasuhiro Kano, well, he just had a recent one (2011). And unfortunately, it didn't fare any better than his last two WSJ series.

Naruto isn't low. It's either second or third to Bleach. WSJ did this gimmick to let the two series which, will both be having their anime debut in the same week as the release of this issue, have...

Nah, the whole plot of the series might have ended this chapter. The one next week could just be a peek of what happened later, it might just consist of a few pages.

This mainly is due to the live-action movie coming out one month after that series. It might even just last until Watsuki made enough materials to form a volume then stop again.

I think so, it's just that it is somewhat immune to cancellation than most of the bottom dwellers since it's tank sales top most of the series in WSJ.

And it's Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar.

But Nura has CP which means it's unranked.
