Enters Stone Cold Edward Newgate *Quake fruit sound effect*
Can't wait for Punished Luffy and the Phantom Pain. lol
Chinjao needs a novel of his own, too.
Kaidou's son dies .
Or another betrayal... by Kaidou's son :sad::sad:.
Today I read about a man who lived in Granada in the 14th century called Ibn al-Khatib, and one of the names people used to call him is "the one with two lives". The reason for that is that he...
.
I guess it depends on the screen size, because on my screen it's just big enough to see all the details without the pages losing focus.
Add to that that the quality of the pages...
If you're not seeing the double pages right then you need to change the reading direction to horizontal.
Either way, I think it hypes them up a lot. It's like Oda's telling us to not overlook these guys just because they're not Calamities.
The return of Don kriego as a gifter lol.
From a man that wishes to die, to a man that can't properly die.
We might get extra information when they meet Big Mom... or not.
Thanks for all the work.
It's either Jinbe or his crew, and you can't have them just leave an Emperor's territory unscathed. And I guess you wouldn't want Jinbe's first time with the crew to be affected by injury...
Still can't get over the fact that he left them a small boat to try and reach Onigashima with, just to sink them later in the middle of the sea.
Remember the Holdem-looking guy who appeared in the recent flashback in chapter 961? Notice how he's wearing the same clothes and waving the same flag as Kurozumi Higurashi (the old granny). Not sure...
Obviously, the WG doesn't want anyone to find One Piece, so both Luffy and BB are enemies to them.
Blackbeard aims for One Piece, and we still don't know if he's after the title or is he after the...
But do you go back to the time Kaido came to Wano or do you just show him fight Oden and count that as character development. Oda already skipped the time Kaido and crew came to Wano and how that...
I understand what you're saying, but the emphasis on Hour of Legends, and the fact we have a set time for the fight in the present...
Obviously it would make more sense to include the fight and...
"The story of their march is a thing of the past, sadly.."
I fear that the last two bubbles are setting up a return to the present. The Hour of Legends might be speaking of the upcoming fight in...
Speaking of scanalators taking it a step too far. :ninja:
I had that thought, but thinking about it now, that dude doesn't even exist in the manga, so that scene is not where the name is introduced.
Maybe One Piece isn't real.
Am I wrong when I say that The One Piece wasn't ever mentioned by name in this flashback? Have we seen anyone mention a treasure called One Piece before Roger's execution, or is it like Laugh Tale?
...
We should also remember that Oden's priorities have changed after he learned "the truth", and also the death of his father meant he had to stay in Wano. I think there are still five years between his...
The panel after the seaquakes shows smoke coming from below. Whitebeard scold-quaked Roger's head into the ground lol.
It was the writer's choice to use these names in his written language, so what your saying has nothing to do with translation. Imagine an English native using Akainu for his character. He wants you...
It's always funny reading Tamago's French mixed with the English.
Yes, Mister worked in that instant, but if another word was used would the English language have an equivalent term to it? I mean this is a serious issue in translation from any language, the idioms,...
Imagine translating the Law vs Vergo fight without the honorifics. ;)
Edit: Also in One Piece it became a unique way of speaking for some characters like Brook and Shirahoshi.
About the bold, while we don't have all the facts about her last moments so our conclusions may not be perfect, I would argue that witnessing her death was what helped the scabbards fake their death...
You missed the part about it being her last stop and that her journey of travelling to the future is over. And her death (and scabbards' death) puts Orochi in a questionable place whenever he talks...
