They actually went and did it... :D

Well played, Mike and Bryan (especially since it makes sense). The show had its ups and downs, but it was still enjoyable overall, especially the finale.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

The outcome was predictable, but enjoyable. Baatar Jr. really thought Kuvira, who's mad with power, would give up and go home just for him? HAHAHA! Naive fool. I bet those words he said to his mom...

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

I also found most of the non-Varrick episode to be bleh, but then Varrick showed up and just killed it. I definitely felt Samurai Champloo's "The Disorder Diaries" influence, especially since Steve...

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

If it's anything like Samurai Champloo's "The Disorder Diaries", which was referenced in the post, then I'm all for it.

Bryan has great taste in anime...

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

I went back and re-watched a bit of the first episode, and this is the full quote:

So, yeah, Sokka is most likely dead. But yes, he was definitely around during Zaheer and gang's heyday.

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra

Katara flat out said "my brother is dead", so Sokka is definitely dead in Korra. Which sucks, because I would've loved to see what old Sokka was up to in his twilight years.

As awesome as ever, eh, Toph? I knew you would be.

And Wagz is right, Toph will praise Korra once she gets over her hurdle and starts kicking ass.

Hopefully we get to spend a little bit of time with the old gal and find out at least a bit of what she's been up to since she just up and left everything behind. Other than that, it was great to see...

    Jinorra? More like Jinorraang!

Also, Pi'li's mind was totally blown by Lin and Soo Yin's plan.More detailed thoughts to come later.

    Agreed.

I love how Bolin didn't react in any way when Pabu first woke him up and was scratching frantically at the window. I get that you're in a city that completely locks down at night, but...

Re: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra (new episodes July 11)

It's most likely due to time zones. Not everyone is going to watch the episodes at the same time, and they might want to discuss something about the series without being spoiled, so I don't see how a...
