Sorry btw, that I wouldn't write you earlier (or you could write me ). My life situation has been pretty crazy for the last months. But One Piece and this forum remains an institution in my life.

I admit that Shiryu not getting the fruit is something disappointing to me, but shows that Oda can be unpredictable. Though his "unpredictableness" is not unlimited. The basic and big things of storytelling are pretty stable, it's the smaller things that can be unpredictable.

For instance Shiryu new power belongs there. But if you would say that some Supernova is gonna fight Shiryu... No, he is clearly meant for some Strawhat (and yeah, still most likely Zoro).
