End of December actually, lol. The 19th. I'll be 24 this year.

Yeah, it is what it is though. I'm still trying to make the most out of this life. I'm only 23, so I'm sure I'll be able to visit Japan and all the other places I want to eventually.

Unfortunately I live on disability, so permanently leaving the country is not an option. Thanks for the recommendations though.

That's cool. I'd love to visit Japan someday. It looks like a beautiful country.

なるほど、その考え方は素晴らしいですね！Suburbanさんが日本に上手く適応されているのも納得です 。わりと順応に苦労する外国の方もいると聞いていたんですけど、心配しすぎだったみたいですね。ナンパで返 信してくれないっていうのは酷い話だと僕も思います。相手から誘ってきたのに失礼ですよね…。

それにしても、大阪に来てわずか3ヶ月くらいなのに関西弁うますぎですねｗ　もう完璧に使いこなしてるじゃ ないですか。日本語スレッドでのレスに「なんでやねん」のイントネーション(抑揚)を繰り返し練習したとい う話を書いておられましたが、まさに努力の積み重ねですね。関西弁だけでなく日本語力全体にしても、文章に 細かい文法のミスがないわけじゃないけど、お世辞じゃなくて言いたいことは100%伝わっているので見事と 言うほかないですね。

ごくまれに早売りジャンプを買うこともあるけど、今回はまだ絵を見ていないのです。。なるほど、尼崎側の大 阪に住んでるんですね。大阪の人たちは性格が明るくて話好きな人が多い印象があります。それに加えてSub urbanさんの同僚とお客さんが英語を話せないとなると、おっしゃるとおり日本語力を磨くには絶好の機会 ですよね。そういえば、Suburbanさんはゲーム好きでしたね。たしか、飛行機のゲームで日本人の友達 とチャットして仲良くなったんでしたね。APのJapanese LanguageスレッドでのSuburbanさんのレスも興味深く読みました。僕たち日本人は閉鎖的な国 民性もあって、外国人の方が苦労することも多いみたいなので、もし困ったことがあったら気軽にご相談してく ださいね。日本に興味を持ってくれて感謝しています。今後のSuburbanさんの日本での生活がうまくい くことを願っています:)

Suburbanさん、お久しぶりです。最近は日本語版はyoutubeにアップされることが多いですね。 2ちゃんの人たちによると、既に898話はアップされてるそうです。自分はネタバレの文章は読むけど、実際 の漫画の絵を見るのは公式の発売日(月曜)以降と心に決めているので、まだチェックしていないです。それに しても、また一段と日本語がお上手になりましたね。その努力に敬意を払いたいです :)

Lots of idiots would use it super literally, in which case I disagree.
Smarter (though not tactful) people would mean something along the lines of "Prejudice is an inherent part of any given society, and people inside of it will inevitably internalize that prejudice on some level. This is especially true if you belong to the majority group." Which is white if we're talking the US or Australia. Obviously not if we're talking somewhere like Japan or India.

So yes, I'm racist in that sense. Though the comment extends to everyone regardless, and foolish people disregard that. Ask any black person if there's internal racism among black folks and they'll affirm.

There are lots of very stupid people in the internet left that don't really understand the good points and ideas they support, many of them simply never actually thinking about them beyond BAD or GOOD.
However what I'll never ever understand is how the far stupider reaction them is apparently to literally embrace racism.
