Happy Birthday!!

Oh, it's not an action game. It's more like a survival game in the same vein of Minecraft. You're thrust into a world with a sometimes hostile environment and you gotta tame it and make it yours. Oh, and don't die. Better to play with friends!

Anyway, awwwwwww I didn't know you had a boyfriend and he sounds so supportive! Humans, no matter how independent we can be, are social creatures. We need that support and interaction so I don't blame you for liking his support. I'm sorry to hear about those long work hours. What do you do? My wife is a nurse and she also has 8 - 12 hour work shifts which can be hell for her. I have no idea what a 12 hour work shift might feel like, jeez. More power to you all.

Playing games with her helps her relax so Don't Starve Together is a good way to de-stress for her and is just real fun for me. If your boyfriend likes games you 2 should give it a try. It's a Co-op survival game with some interesting dark humor and building mechanics.

To me the forum is the people who are on it and they make it what it is. It just feels less active now and so many people I came on with are either inactive or just much less active. Such is life....though some were banned and that's why they're gone, lol. Don't get me wrong, new people are joining and they're pretty awesome. I've gotten to know quite a few newcomers who continue to make this place great. I don't want to sound like Donald Trump and pretend this isn't still a great community of users still but I guess something's missing for me. Activity. This place used to be a lot more active. The tournaments, the threads, the posts. Everything is smaller and more contained now. There's less spontaneity which is good and bad. I don't know, just seeing you reminded me of the "good ol' days". :P

Usually, I would complain about a tough work week but school is on spring break and its not just the students who are happy if you know what I mean. So I'm spending more time with the wifey which is great. We're playing a game called Don't Starve Together. It's pretty cool. I hope this week is better for you!
