      - First off, the One Piece at a Time blog has posted the second part of their interview with "One Piece" manga editor Alexis Kirsch. Check it out, there's some interesting in it:

      - For the week of April 25th through May 1st got its usual performance on Japanese T.V. It scored third place out of all the anime that aired on T.V. with an average rating of 9.5:

      - Just as well for the week of May 2nd through the 8th "One Piece" got in 5th place out of all anime on Japanese T.V. with an average rating of 8.0:

      - For the week of May 9th through the 15th "One Piece" was still #1 in comic book sales and still killing the competition:

      - For the week of May 9th through the 15th "One Piece" also did really well in Japanese animation DVD sales. Parts 3 and 4 of the Maiden Island Arc both debuted in the top 5 overall best-selling animation DVDs:

      Finally, we have some news from France. This is actually old news but it wasn't reported in English until this week. The television channel Direct Star started rerunning the first 225 episodes of the anime on May 2nd. It's airing Monday through Friday starting at 6:20 PM, with five episodes per day:
