      - Let's start off with some Japanese T.V. anime ratings. For the week of August 8th through the 14th, "One Piece" got an average household rating of 9.4 and was the third highest-rated anime of the week:

      - Oricon came out with their Japanese DVD sales rankings for the week of August 15th through the 21st. "One Piece Mugiwara Chase" fell from 54th to 83rd place, selling 808 units for a total of 9,307. It was the 12th best-selling animation DVD. "One Piece Log Collection God" fell of the overall DVD sales list from 75th place the previous week. However, it was the 20th best-selling animation DVD. It sold 566 copies that week for a total of 27,326 copies:

      - Crunchyroll News put up a third part to their photo report of the "One Piece" goodness going on at Fuji TV's
      "Odaiba Gassyukoku/United States of Odaiba"

      - We got some more Japanese comic book sales for you all. For the week of August 15th through the 21st, "One Piece" #63 went from 1st to 2nd place, selling 151,674 copies for a total of 2,737,718:

      - Premium Bandai, Bandai's official online shop, started taking orders for a Thousand Sunny-themed roll cake. The first batch is already sold out, costs about 2,940 yen (about $38), and will start shipping in November:

      - We got some more T.V. ratings from Japan, for the week of August 15th through the 21st. The special version of the "One Piece" Alabasta film with an added scene aired on August 20th at 9:00 p.m., garnering a rating of 12.9. The T.V. show itself was the fourht highest-rated anime of the week and gained an 8.4 ratings. I don't know what "Alabasta Episode 0" is referring to on the list (I assume it's the same special-edition of the movie), but it aired at 12:55 on August 20th with a 5.0 rating. It was the ninth highest-rated anime of the week:

      - Just recently a line of Hello Kitty x One Piece merchandise was announced. Toei Animation and Sanrio are collaborating to release 350 pieces of stationary, clothing and more under 20 companies starting this November;

      Notable voice actor Junpei Takiguchi passed away recently at the age of 80 due to stomach cancer. Among his roles is Admiral Nelson in "One Piece":

      Dinos' "One Piece" CarNavi GPS sold out in four months. It was limited to 20,000 units and sold exclusively through Dinos' website starting April 22nd, 2011. For the first month it sold 15,000 units, and retailed for39,800 yen (US$517.89):

      - We have some more news about the anime reaching the New World arc. Redon reported a recent event held by Fuji TV to celebrate the upcoming saga, with Mayumi Tanaka and Hiroshi Katadani in attendance. XMURADX also reported that during the episode airing September 25th (right before the New World), a new version of "We Are" will be played. It was also said that apparently user on the 2ch forum are speculating Koda Kumi will sing the next opening. You can check their posts here (#162 and #168 respectively):

      1. Cofirmation that the crew voice acting team hasn't been recording together regaularly so she's looking forward to everyone being there together.
      2. She met Oda recently and he said it will be another 10 years.
